I assumed it would tell me if I wouldn't be permitted to download an older release. Although to be fair, I have a license through my university which some people confusingly call student license as well. Thanks guys for the quick response. Rik I went to the link you provided but got a message that I could not download because I didn't have license. So I logged in to my Mathworks account and was able to send a message to support giving them my license number and asking them if I could download ver Rb which I think is the last ver that supported 32 bit.

The response was that my shool's license did not include older versions and so they are not available to me to download.
