Torrents not downloading even with seeds
Firewall disabled, tried all the settings in the setup guide etc. Now when I run the set up tests, utorrent doesn't connect to any of the servers on its drop-down list. They either say "connection timed out ," or "Lookup error: No such host is known I tried uninstalling uTorrent, but I can't because this stupid, unworkable OS claims that uTorrent is not installed on this machine I'm running uTorrent right now, actually; Windows 7 really blows like nothing I've ever seen before , so it doesn't show up in the installed programs list in the Control Panel.
Please offer some assistance. The closer you can get to Plain English, the better - I have some technical knowledge, but I'd rather you treat me as a non-specialist, so I'll have a better chance of understanding the instructions. Like I said, it was working fine until two weeks ago. Nothing has been changed to make it stop working, unless Windows 7 has installed some crappy updates without asking me.
Which is entirely possible, I suppose, given what a truly dismal OS it is. Posted in old thread by mistake, it just was the most relevant seeming thread that I found through your forum's search function. If you have a link to a more current thread, I'll be happy to start using that one instead. So it's my fault, but as stumblin said, it seems the most accurate description of my problem. If you need to dread send us a link to a more up to date thread.

You should uncheck that box for the random port for incoming connections and change it to a static number.
They way you have it set up now it will pick a different number every time you restart it. You can set the from and the to to the same number. You only need 1 port. In general several people have had issues with the libtorrent version that shipped with the latest version of deluge. You could try to update that manually and see if that helps. There are links for 1. Just download the file and put the libtorrent. It might work best if you are using the python 2.

If you have uTorrent, then to remove the tracker, open the app and select the not working tracker. Right-click on it and then click on the Remove Tracker option. Follow the same step to remove all the non-working trackers. When the port does not work correctly, you can run the tests and adjust the necessary settings.
For that, open the app and go to Options. Few options would display; out of them, click on Setup Guide. Then lastly click on Run Test.
