The memory leak hasn't been fixed, unfortunately. That's eluded everyone. I've never played this game before. I'll have to check it out. Using the original disk, it installed to xp and windows 7 fine. Another game I played a lot of and still do! Will check out your linky though. This game has it's flaws, mostly in the memory issue, the ship naming and the classes The fed has two few, IMO, one extra then others yes, but it uses the same class just upgrades it, bleh.

If i knew how, I'd do something to make a game in this style, but i don't, so There's a large fan movement not just for mods, but a sequel of the sorts, or an overhaul to the game.

Cloak was OP as hell and taking planets was hard for me to pull off. I'd usually just dominate space and keep all the other factions unable to fly, since I couldn't lose space battles but couldn't win ground invasions.
